Wimbledon will follow the American and Aussie Opens in implementing video review systems.
Replay systems will make its debut at The Championships for the 2025 edition.
Athletes will gain the option to question specific rulings from the official, following the protocol currently in operation at each of the American Grand Slam and the Aussie major.
This technology is slated for use on Centre Court and the number one court throughout the tournament and on the other four show courts when they are staging singles matches.
This move comes just a year after the All England Club rolled out electronic line calling, which effectively ended the 147-year role of line officials.
Competitors will not be permitted to dispute the call of the electronic line calling, but are allowed to request the official to review other decisions, including:
Importantly, there will be no cap on the number of reviews a player can initiate.
An illustrative example occurred in a recent tournament last week, where Daniil Medvedev used the review system against Jack Draper.
Draper admitted it was a tough call for the umpire, but believed his rival had "used the regulations quite well."
The umpire watched a video and ruled the player was responsible for hindrance, granting the rally to Medvedev.
This technology aren't exclusive to Grand Slams. It was adopted at the US Open for two years and the Aussie Open this year.
Additionally, it is becoming more common on the WTA circuit, and by next season the men's ATP Tour plans to have video reviews in place at every one of its tournaments.
Another change at Wimbledon this year involves the introduction of graphical cues on scoreboards to support the audio calls from the electronic line calling system.
This solves instances where fans have occasionally been unsure if a shot was out or in.
In other news, with precisely 100 days remaining until the start of the tournament, organizers have further announced an increase in daily attendance at the qualifying competition in Roehampton.
